Immerse in an ECO-Tour and Experience Southwest Florida Islands by Boat

“Captain Brian Holaway is well versed in the intricacies of our unmatched locale. He can guide to and through a multitude of out-of-the way tidal creeks, bayous, keys and islands. More important is his passionate interest and respect for the region. With unique insights from his many explorations and his studies, not only does he identify the birds and wildlife that inhabit our semi-tropical watery land, but he explains their interconnectedness to their environment and each other. In addition, he shares the fascinating history of rugged people who came long before us: Florida Native Indians, the Calusa, the Spanish, the Cubans, early homesteaders, and the wisdom evident in the growth of their culture.

You will come away with great enjoyment and a new understanding of this beautiful place and its history.”

Nancy and Melissa Exploring Again With Capt. Brian

Nancy and Melissa traveled with me for the 7th year in a row. We always have a good time and enjoy what nature has to offer on our excursions. On this trip we traveled  to one of my favorite spots and took the paddle board. Melissa is an excellent photographer and took many excellent photos on the front of the paddle board. Nancy collected shells in this remote spot.  The storm clouds started to roll in so we headed over to the delicious Tarpon Lodge for lunch. After lunch we took our time traveling to favorite spot number one. The beach was empty of people and the water was clear. We collected more shells and Melissa took many photos of the birds and landscapes. The day was an absolute pleasure. The real treasure for me on this trip was a book the Johnson family made for me. The book is 65 pages long and has photos from all of our trips from May  2005 to  May 2012.  I posted the cover and the first and last page. Thank you for a wonderful book of photos and memories.

The pleasure was all ours, Captain Brian! What a fabulous day it was - calm water for your special plans, plenty of shells, great wildlife photo ops for Melissa, a delicious lunch at the Tarpon Lodge, then more Cayo fun. We got a great start on memories for the next book :-) Kim is right about you touching the hearts of many! It was our lucky day when we went on our first shelling cruise and you were our captain.
