Here are some highlights from the Sanibel Shell Festival last week. It was good to see some old friends and make some new friends. This year I submitted two entries, an albino worm shell (which I didn't get an award for) and a photo of a live scallop shell. I received a 3rd place ribbon for the photo. See y'all soon! Capt Brian

Congratulations on placing with the photo. It is a beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing photos from the shell festival. I wish I could have flown back for it. The amazing creativity and artwork is very inspiring. What a talented group of people. The display labeled as shell sampler looked neat. Sorry that your albino worm shell didn't place. It was cool.

I might be a bit biased, but if I were judging... Congratulations! That photo and the other scallop photo were my favorites from one of your posts. Not sure if I will eat scallops again, but the photos were beautiful!
