Immerse in an ECO-Tour and Experience Southwest Florida Islands by Boat

“Captain Brian Holaway is well versed in the intricacies of our unmatched locale. He can guide to and through a multitude of out-of-the way tidal creeks, bayous, keys and islands. More important is his passionate interest and respect for the region. With unique insights from his many explorations and his studies, not only does he identify the birds and wildlife that inhabit our semi-tropical watery land, but he explains their interconnectedness to their environment and each other. In addition, he shares the fascinating history of rugged people who came long before us: Florida Native Indians, the Calusa, the Spanish, the Cubans, early homesteaders, and the wisdom evident in the growth of their culture.

You will come away with great enjoyment and a new understanding of this beautiful place and its history.”

Jersey Ladies

Four veteran water ladies spent the afternoon with me relaxing and exploring. The afternoon's weather was perfect. We went to secret spot number 11 and walked the beach. The beach was filled with coquinas as far as the eye could see. A large lightning whelk was found soon after setting foot on the beach. Then a seahorse was found. It was that kind of day. Next it was to a local watering hole off the beaten path. Great fun was had and good conversations were exchanged. The water was slick calm on the return to Captiva. We observed many dolphin playing and enjoyed more great conversations.  Many thanks to the Jersey ladies for a fun afternoon of relaxing and exploring.

The water looks so calm and beautiful. And to find a gorgeous seahorse....what a special gift from the sea. Great shell finds, especially the whelks...and an albino one at that.

I just checked out all the wonderful photos from our fantastic Jersey Ladies trip and WOW WOW WOW! It was wonderful to relive our perfect afternoon of shelling and sharing in God's beautiful gifts to us. Capt Brian your expertise and fun spirit were greatly appreciated and you certainly knew where to find a great stash of shells! This special afternoon will carry me through a long, cold winter ahead.
