Immerse in an ECO-Tour and Experience Southwest Florida Islands by Boat

“Captain Brian Holaway is well versed in the intricacies of our unmatched locale. He can guide to and through a multitude of out-of-the way tidal creeks, bayous, keys and islands. More important is his passionate interest and respect for the region. With unique insights from his many explorations and his studies, not only does he identify the birds and wildlife that inhabit our semi-tropical watery land, but he explains their interconnectedness to their environment and each other. In addition, he shares the fascinating history of rugged people who came long before us: Florida Native Indians, the Calusa, the Spanish, the Cubans, early homesteaders, and the wisdom evident in the growth of their culture.

You will come away with great enjoyment and a new understanding of this beautiful place and its history.”

Shelling with Kevin and Shawn

It was a great two days exploring with Kevin and Shawn. Kevin and Shawn have been shelling in the area since 1986. We spent time on the out islands as well as on a sand bar out in the Gulf. We also walked the flats. A lot was fit in and the time seemed to fly by. I enjoyed walking and talking with these veteran shellers from the state of Colorado. Thank you Kevin and Shawn for a wonderful two days of exploring.

Shelling With Sheri

I had a great 8 hour charter last week with Sheri Zipp.  Some of the cool finds of the day were spiny jewel boxes (both sides), a worm shell, a very unique lettered olive and a couple baby's ears. The 8 hours seemed to fly by and suddenly it was time to head back to the dock. It was a wonderful day.  Thank you Sheri for another great day of shelling!
