Fall is in the air in Southwest Florida. Many species of migrating hawks flew over Cayo Costa early this morning. The winter resident pair of bald eagles arrived today. Mullet fish were cruising the beach in huge schools. Ospreys tormented the bald eagles. White ibis casually walked on the edge of the shoreline. I followed close behind observing nature unfold in front of me as I walked into the Southwest Florida fall air.
