Scott was out of the boat before I could get the stern anchor set, he was ready to shell. After the stern anchor was set his wife and friends got out of the boat. Scott was a fast walker and covered a lot of area. His wife enjoyed finding egg cockles for the first time. They also enjoyed the bird life along the way. It was a fun day of shelling and birding with Scott and crew. I look forward to our next adventure.

Photography And Exploring
The weather was perfect for Jake and Laura. Laura is a photographer and enjoyed taking pictures of the landscapes and birds. Jake enjoyed the isolated stretch of beach empty of people. What a perfect day and the colors were amazing. Thank you Jake and Laura. Capt. Brian

Walking and Listening with Diane
The weather and moon were perfect for Mike and Diane. I always have a plan for each trip but you know nature always wins. We started by just enjoying the birds overhead, my old friend the frigate bird. The tide was really low so we pulled over to a mudflat and enjoyed the sea life that was on it. Then off to favorite spot number one. The beach was beautiful (I didn't want to leave). It was a beautiful time of day to be on the island. The tide happened to be falling as the moon rose. Diane enjoyed every minute. I enjoyed listening to Diane's story and how she arrived on my boat. Her story made me appreciate what I do even more. Thank you Diane for your walk and talk. I look forward to walking and listening to your stories on our next adventure. Capt. Brian

Nancy
Nancy and her family have been clients for over ten years. On this trip it was just Nancy. We spent the afternoon and evening boating, shelling, watching wildlife and listening to the sounds of nature. We shelled Avocet Island and an island north of Avocet. Then an early dinner at Nancy's favorite restaurant and Melissa's too, The Tarpon Lodge on Pine Island. The weather was ominous as we ate dinner. The clouds were amazing to photograph. We caught a little hole in the weather to travel back to Captiva. Nancy is always up for any adventure. We had many adventures on this trip.
Thank you Nancy for another day full of exploring and Happy Birthday!

Relaxing And Exploring With Kim And Chablis
It was a great day on the water with Kim and Chablis. This trip was a long time coming. We were out the whole day. Chablis took many photographs and got some good shots of the dolphin on our way to the island. Our first stop was at Avocet Island where Chablis found a large whelk. The water was very clear as we motored to another location, the shells were excellent and the water perfect. Next it was off to the Tarpon Lodge for a delicious lunch. I enjoyed talking with Chablis about her future endeavors. The afternoon was spent at one of my favorite places just off the beaten path. Kim and Chablis enjoyed the afternoon and were a pleasure to relax and explore with.
