Ladies Day Out Shelling
The weather was perfect and the shelling was good. Cindy, Pam, Jan, Bid, and Mary had a blast! I enjoyed showing veteran sheller Cindy new techniques to look at the rack line and find babies ears. Pam loved finding sand dollars. Mary enjoyed riding shotgun, listening to my stories and just being out on the water. I enjoyed the calm seas and a beautiful day at my favorite place. Thank you ladies for a great day on the water!

Fun With Kristen, Judi and Dorinda
I enjoyed the company of Kristen, Judi, and Dorinda on a shelling outing to secret spot number three. Kristen and Judi were veteran shellers. Dorinda was a first time sheller and had a blast. She enjoyed finding sand dollars and fighting conchs. Judi uses some of the shells for crafts. Kristen is a good sheller with a good eye for finding sun ray venus. We were excited to find a zig zag scallop (Flat shell). A new shell pile had emerged north of secret spot number three while I was sleeping. Because it was not there 14 hours earlier. This shell pile was over a foot deep and Kristen and I covered every inch. Many olives were found. Kristen was helpful in many ways on this trip. She reminded me that I left my camera back at secret spot number three. I had set it down to wade out to the boat and she noticed it when I was pulling the bow anchor. She even drove the boat while I put down the spray hood. Thank you Kristen, Judi and Dorinda for a fun trip.

Sheri And Sam
Sam spotted a HUGE horse conch in the marina. We pulled the boat over and Sam got out and pulled this beautiful shell on board. We took many photos. Soon after Sam spotted some fins on the water. It turned out to be a spotted eagle ray. (My favorite) We watched this ray for a long time. Then we traveled south of secret spot number two. The beach was loaded with many shells. Time seemed to fly by. We had to pull Sheri off the beach.(She could have shelled for days) I enjoyed the conversations about shells and horses. Great finds and great horses! I look forward to seeing you again next year .P.S. Sam I also look forward to a 15.1 on Sunday:)

Chicago Sisters Take Two
The mood was far from blue when we left the dock under the cover of darkness. The Chicago sister's second trip of the week was great. The sunrise by favorite spot number one was beautiful. We traveled to an isolated stretch of beach and enjoyed the shell bounty. There were many excellent finds. It has been a while since I have seen such a wide variety of shells. The zig zag scallop and small cone were two very cool finds of the day. There were a lot. Thank you for a great trip. See you in March.
