Immerse in an ECO-Tour and Experience Southwest Florida Islands by Boat

“Captain Brian Holaway is well versed in the intricacies of our unmatched locale. He can guide to and through a multitude of out-of-the way tidal creeks, bayous, keys and islands. More important is his passionate interest and respect for the region. With unique insights from his many explorations and his studies, not only does he identify the birds and wildlife that inhabit our semi-tropical watery land, but he explains their interconnectedness to their environment and each other. In addition, he shares the fascinating history of rugged people who came long before us: Florida Native Indians, the Calusa, the Spanish, the Cubans, early homesteaders, and the wisdom evident in the growth of their culture.

You will come away with great enjoyment and a new understanding of this beautiful place and its history.”

The Johnson Family

Another enjoyable charter with the Johnsons. We started at secret spot number 4 where the shells were great and we walked farther than I had anticipated.  Along the way taking photos of the birds, mainly white pelicians, before heading to the Tarpon Lodge for a delightful lunch.  A most enjoyable trip with the Johnson Family.

What kind of bird is that in the first photo with the orange on his beak?

White Pelicans are such an amazing site. I see quite a few off the Boca Grande Causeway as the weather starts getting chillier. I get so busy looking for shells that I have to remember to lift my head up & take in what's flying around me. Beach combing is all about the journey.

We did have a great time, Jen! The weather, shelling, bird action and lunch were all wonderful. Capt. Brian alway manages to surprise us with something on our adventures and this time he did a funny dance that Melissa photographed :-) A day in paradise with our favorite Captain!
